Teaching portfolio

Welcome to my teaching portfolio! I've created several pages to guide you through my teaching journey, which starts with my teaching philosophy.

While I began teaching to fund my own education, I've since taught over 200 students across all undergraduate levels (freshmen to seniors), each of whom taught me something new about my teaching philosophy, or beliefs about teaching. You can read through my experiences here

In addition to my ideas and beliefs about teaching, you can read through the diverse ways that I have put those ideas into practice by reading through my teaching narrative here. This narrative largely focuses on my time as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of South Florida, where I have worked tirelessly to update and expand the Principles of Ecology lab for four years. In this page, you'll also find several links to course materials I have developed.

Finally, you can read about my teaching through the eyes of my students. The Student Evaluation page includes many comments left by students over the years in anonymous surveys collected by the University of South Florida. You can access that page here.

If you would like to know more about my teaching and research experiences, consider also looking through my CV, found here.
