I'm a research scientist whose interests span ecosystems ecology, biogeochemistry, environmental anthropology, and social hydrology and most often ask how ecosystems are shaped and influenced by direct and indirect human interactions. I recently completed my Ph.D. in integrative biology and am now a post-doctoral research scientist studying the social and ecological costs of flooding at the University of Vermont.
